چکیده
The integration of electric vehicles (EVs) with the energy grid has become an important area research due to increasing EV penetration in today's transportation systems. Under appropriate management charging and discharging, can currently satisfy requirements a considerable number EVs. Furthermore, EVs help enhance reliability stability through ancillary services such as storage. This paper proposes routing problem time windows under time-variant electricity prices (EVRPTW-TP) which optimizes fleet that are delivering products customers, jointly scheduling discharging from/to grid. proposed model is multiperiod vehicle where stop at stations either recharge their batteries or inject stored Given costs vary based on time-of-use, schedules optimized benefit from capability storing by shifting demands peak hours off-peak when price lower. recover potentially realize profits injecting back high periods. EVRPTW-TP formulated optimization problem. A Lagrangian relaxation approach hybrid variable neighborhood search/tabu search heuristic obtain quality lower bounds feasible solutions, respectively. Numerical experiments instances literature provided. also evaluated case study providing grocery delivery region Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario, Canada. Insights impacts pricing, service slots, range reduction winter well size presented.

Exact Algorithms for Electric Vehicle-Routing Problems with Time Windows
Effective route planning for battery electric commercial vehicle (ECV) fleets has to take into account their limited autonomy and the possibility of visiting recharging stations during the course of a route. In this paper, we consider four variants of the electric vehicle-routing problem with time windows: (i) at most a single recharge per route is allowed, and batteries are fully recharged on ...
متن کاملCompetitive Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows and Stochastic Demands
The competitive vehicle routing problem is one of the important issues in transportation area. In this paper a new method for competitive VRP with time windows and stochastic demand is introduced. In the presented method a three time bounds are given and the probability of arrival time between each time bound is assumed to be uniform. The demands of each customer are different in each time wind...
متن کاملA mathematical model for the electric vehicle routing with time windows considering queuing system at charging stations and alternative paths
Due to many damages that human activities have imposed on the environment, authorities, manufacturers, and industry owners have taken into account the development of supply chain more than ever. One of the most influential and essential human activities in the supply chain are transportation which green vehicles such as electric vehicles (EVs) are expected to generate higher economic and enviro...
متن کاملElectric Vehicle Routing with Realistic Recharging Model
We study the problem of electric vehicle routing in road networks. Careful route planning is important, especially when planning far trips, because the battery capacity of electric vehicles is limited and charging stations are rare compared to gas stations. This makes it necessary to plan the route and all charging stops beforehand, so that the battery does not deplete along the way. While cons...
متن کاملTHE PERIODIC GREEN VEHICLE ROUTING PROBLEM WITH CONSIDERING OF TIME-DEPENDENT URBAN TRAFFIC AND TIME WINDOWS
The travel times among demand points are strongly influenced by traffic in a supply chain. Due to this fact, the service times for customers are variable. For this reason, service time is often changes over a time interval in a real environment. In this paper, a time-dependent periodic green vehicle routing problem (VRP) considering the time windows for serving the customers and multiple trip i...
